I'm offering 2 holiday courses for instrumentalists and singers. The courses this year are for Diploma level and beyond. However, in 2008 we will offer courses for Grades 5 - 8 as well as adult beginners. Music in Performance Holiday course, Spain. In 2007 we are offering performance holidays for singers and instrumentalist. The dates are: 23 – 29 September and 21 – 27 October. The courses take place in Cadiar, the heart of the Alpujarras, in Southern Spain. The minimum age is 18 and participants should be at Diploma level or better. There are 8 playing participant places and a further 8 non-playing spaces for friends or partners. A range of non-musical activities will also be available. The week includes: Instrumental and vocal tuition with guest tutors Public masterclasses Spanish pronunciation for singers Sessions in Alexander technique led by Cat Jary Plenty of rehearsal and performance opportunities in public concerts around the town. The price includes all meals, accommodation, transport and tuition. Don't knock this one guys. Andrew is a regular contributor at TOP who has taken some stick from the favoured few getting this one off the ground.
As for me well I'm not quite packing my bags yet, but deposit is paid and October half term is being spent making music in Spain con hubby who will be making the best of Andalucia sin kids (ther'e at the outlaws for the week.)
I wondered when you would find your way here Andrew?

Thanks ;D You have to be so careful - I felt I had been put in front of a firing squad for one mistake. Oh, and thank goodness there is no mention on this forum of a certain pompous organ We get it already....
