Why do people log on as "invisible"?
Is it because they have something to hide?

Probably ;D It doesn't seem to matter on here because it just says (invisible) next to the users name

I always logged on as invisible on TOP, because I did indeed have something to hide - the threads I was reading. I noticed early on that you could view what a contributor was up to by looking in the profile. I didn't see why everybody should be able to see what I was viewing.

That's exactly why I log on as invisible on TOP. On these forums, there's a bit more privacy when you're not invisible.
