Damn, you're a few steps ahead of me and AP; we're only vaguely thinking about who to invite . We do have one issue in the seating plan - a grandmother who no-one wants to sit next to. Everyone on her side of the family has said 'don't sit me next to her'; so I can either inflict her on AP's family (which AP won't let me do ) or arrange for a table for one in the corner ;D. I think, in reality, I'll ply her with drink and sit her next to her daughter (my dad's sister) .

Shame you can't sit next to us - people do well at weddings when it comes to drinking our champagne, wine, drinks on arrival....

Unless you're surprising everyone and getting wed next week, I would hope to be ahead!! We have two crazy old relatives that no-one wants to be with - one on each side. We sat them together Surrounded by people who will drink enough not to care ;D I thoroughly recommend setting up a website. I only have one grandmother who can't/won't access it...every other question has the automatic "answer is on the website" response

I do like the website idea; yours is fab . I think most of my family has Internet access now, excluding grandparents. Also makes it easier for communication with relatives in Australia and such like.

Cheers Communication is much easier - just replace Holland and South Africa for Australia; relatives for chemical engineers Night all

The seating plan can be a nightmare Suzymac as can the guest list in the first place. Shine on your big day and enjoy it. (looks back fondly at own wedding)
