Well done!
But doesn't this mean you will have to be elevated beyond "princess" status?? Queen Moose? First Lady Moose?

Well done! But doesn't this mean you will have to be elevated beyond "princess" status?? Queen Moose? First Lady Moose? No, no, not Queen Moose - that is AP Thanks everyone, really still cannot believe it. It's not right, some people deserved better marks than me and didn't .

Got my report this morning: Presentation: Nice and poised, after having been very nervous Grasp of musical content; style and interpretation: Very brave to begin with a solo piece but very good line and pulse. Excellent dynamics, both written and own - very musical. Always good musical understanding - long closing notes sometimes cut off early. (oops I've been told about that so many times) Try to make more use of piano/pianissimo range. Technical control; accuracy: Good control over the whole range, which was used effectively over the course of the programme. Good technical control, solid tone - you should try to vary it even more! Intonation almost always spotless. Lovely staccato in last piece.

Yeah, they were good. Went into school today and Sally read the report, and laughed at the piano/pianissimo range comment. She was forever trying to get me to play loud, and I didn't, now I've gone the other way ;D.

if you say so . Has he composed anything for sax other than those 3 pieces?

I'm not sure. He's definately written a concerto, but it's for soprano sax. Rob Buckland premiered it for him in his final 'composition recital' for his degree. He wrote it for a friend, who ended up with lots fo throat problems and couldn't play, so he ended up with ROb playing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
