Slightly different to the other sight reading thread so I thought I'd do a new topic.
Other than the AB Specimen Sight Reading Tests, what other books are there full of sight reading exercises I can do?

Being the wonderful sightreader that I am *cough* I have quite a bit of material at my disposal . Paul Harris's 'Improve Your Sightreading' is quite good, at least for exam training, although the problem is I'm now quite good at reading atonal pieces that change between 5/4 and 7/4 with 2 against 3 in the middle and 3 key changes, but give me any real music and it really doesn't help with that at all . The Right @ Sight series (T. A. Johnson) tend to be a bit more tuneful and sensible though . Another thing I've done to try and get me used to reading more 'real' music is to buy some of the AB's grades 1-3 (you'll probably want higher...) compilation publications: keyboard anthologies, Romantic Sketchbooks, and More Romantic Pieces for Piano. I think these are better for learning sightreading in general, rather than exam training. I've got easier ones to try and imporve fluency as it's fluency that I want to improve rather than overcoming specific technical issues.

Thanks. I probably won't want higher, I have some of those books for around grade 5 level and they just make me go . I'll have a look next time I am in a music shop.
