I've got her After Hours book 3 and hadn't given it much chance until this evening when I just got it out and there are some really lovely pieces in there.
Anyone else play these or have any books?

I was trying some of the first After Hours book this afternoon but when my other half got home, he declared that it was 'boring'. That was the end of my piano practice for today. I played my clarinet then instead.

I don't know what the first book is like but I don't think they are boring.
I can't remember the names of the pieces I like offhand, I'll post them later.

Can't reccomend PW's books too highly. After Hours, Up-Grade, Jazzin About. Rubbish, all of it, but the students love it and will play it into the ground. That is all I need to use her work. I describe it as 'rubbish'. I also describe most of the AB stuff in the same way - Keyboard Anthology etc. The latter is full of drivel by the likes of Fibbich, Kirnberger, Rathgerber et al. The kids hate this. PW rocks. Steve

I loved PW when I was a kid (as opposed to the mature grown-up I am now).

I've got After Hours book 1 for my flute! I love Falling too, my mum loves Come Dance With Me...especially when the backing track begins with the 'boogie-woogie' section Survivor is good fun too!
