I'm bored, any suggestions? Thought about going to have a browse around Forsyths, but don't know yet.
I'll play most things, other than Baroque. Don't want just one piece, perhaps something like a collection of sonatinas or preludes etc. I don't know, I'm uninspirsed and want something to make me practice again.
Around grade 5 ish level.

I've had a brief look at it, it's not one of my favourite Chopin pieces, it has to be said. There are a few rhythm things in there that I'd rather avoid, I can't do things like triplets against quavers .

Heard a fantastic piece played at Chetham's. An Alkan prelude - La Chanson de la Folle au bord de la mer which translates as "The song of the mad woman by the sea". Got an MP3 from here www.chass.utoronto.ca/epc/langueXIX/musique/and found a free copy of the score pretty quickly. Can't remember the link at the moment. It's different - I'd really like to play it! Edit: Just mailed you an MP3
