My friend is a complete jazz-freak...I should maybe direct her this way So is one of my music teachers But sadly I haven't got away from classical yet, despite wanting to try out some jazz piano. Hopefully when I get more towards the standard needed for uni I can break away slightly and try out some new stuff!

I like trad jazz, but can't stand the modern stuff. I'm sure it's very clever, knowledge of modes etc., but to me the name is just an excuse to play (or sing) the wrong notes at the wrong time!

I'm not really fond of pure jazz, but I like the mix styles like fusion. I love the music of Chick Corea, especially the album "my Spanish heart"

Mmm I love all jazz (pretty much) - although 'Cool Jazz' took a while to get used to!
I've just been singing and dancing to a Sinatra album whilst doing the housework ;D

I'm not too clued up on the different styles, I just listen to it! Although I've been told do read some stuff on it and get some books so I might actually know a bit about it soon .
