I was thinking about going.
Do I need to get a ticket or something for it?

Yeah you do, I can't remember the exact price, around £20 ish I think, and if you stay for the evening concert it's more money again. I want to go as I missed last years, I just don't want to spend £40-50 and then not be able to go .

I can go on the 12th, and it would probably be fun...where do I get tickets from?

You can book online on the RNCM website, or ring up the box office I think. If I've read the info correctly I think it's £30 for the day.
There are playing opportunities with everyone, masterclasses, individual workshops with tutors like Andy Scott, Rob Buckland, Mike Hall, Ruth Darby, Andy Wilson and Jim Muirhead and then a concert.

It sounds great I know someone who went to one last year and loved it. Maybe I can get Andy Scott to help me with my grade piece ;D

Yeah, Saxophonist went last year and I think he liked it! I don't think you have you have an individual thing if you don't want to, I'm not sure so don't quote me! It'd be quite funny if I had a workshop with Andy .

He tried to get me to go last year but I couldn't. I hate things where you need to book way in advance because I have no idea what might crop up at uni or at work etc.

True, but you will just have to try and keep it as clear as possible. Do you have to book in advance, or can you pay on the door? Is it free for RNCM students?

I think it's book in advance to be safe, especially if you want a workshop. You could email Andy or Rob or the RNCM and ask for more info . Don't think it's free no .
