Well I am going to the music shop, and have a try...the ones they currently have in stock are: Plastic: * Leblanc Clarinet * Yamaha 250 UK * Buffet B12 Wooden: * Yamaha 450 s * Buffet E11 * and maybe if my budget stretches LeBlanc "Sonata" or Yamaha 650 S I am going to try both types and see which I prefer

LeBlanc is a good make of clarinet too. Those ones look fairly ok so have fun trying them . Which shop you going to Amy?

Curly's in town, I probably won't make it down there til tues though . If there is nothing there my dad has offered to take me up to forsyths week after next

I wouldn't recommend a Hanson. We've had a load at our music service for the last year or so, and a lot all need mending and things doing to them.

I have never actually heard of Hanson. I am probably going to go for one in the shop, that way if there are any problems it is easy enough to go get them fixed.

Well I went and tried them today, and have put a deposit down on a Jupiter plastic clarinet
