Have just discovered these (for bassoon + piano). Delightful!! Exactly the sort of thing I like to play and they are just at the right level (i.e. occasionally drift into tenor clef, but usually in a logical way and not for too long).
Do try, if you're into that sort of thing!!

Mmmmm not sure. I think they have been on various exams over the years, but usually jsut one movement. I suppose the easiest is about a 3-4, and then the fiendish ones are up to 8!! (So I'm starting with any movement labelled adagio or lento!!)

Would they fit onto bass recorder at all? Galliard's dates sound OK for me. Not sure about tenor clef, mind you !

I haven't tried them on bass recorder yet. They would fit......ish.....but tend to go beyond the E (2 legers at the top) and below our bass recorder F, so they would need some adapting.
I was hunting for a recording of them - and was then GUTTED to find that they are deemed by some to be suitable TROMBONE repertoire!! I am NOT impressed!! (Can't stand trombones!)
