I was interested to hear how many of you whose voices have broken are using your falsetto range. There is nothign wrong with that, especially if you have lessons with a counter-tenor.
Counter-tenors are normally natural baritones who have good falsetto ranges and make a pleasing sound with them.
The most important thing about singing is that it shouldn't hurt. As you voice develops, it is good to use your natural voice, but if you turn into a counter-tenor then so be it.

My teacher says that if a man can't use his falsetto then his voice is bu****ed, I think he trains them to use it in exercises privately but in public they wouldn't be using it in a song. In order for the voice to work the whole thing should be working top to bottom is his motto
