I'll be away on holiday when mine arrive and one of my students is on cat feeding duty. He was most upset when I told him that he couldn't open the envelope because it wasn't fair on everyone else ;D

I'm currently not pleased with Trinity, unoffically I have the marks, 57, 54 and 69. I am appealling because I think they've been robbed as the examiner thought internet purchased copies were actually photo-copies. At least two should have passed. I get the marksheets tommorrow, so will complain in earnest then!

Yep I'm waiting for two grade 5 theory marks too.
Jod I don't really understand Trinity's marking. What do they need to pass?

Can they be failed for not having bought the music? Or the examiner thinking they didn't?

I'm not happy wih Trinity either. My First Concert Cert passed in March and we're STILL waiting for the certificate! Local rep has had it since APRIL but there's an error on it and he's STILL not done anything about it. He only rang me because I contacted London and they got on to him.

Yep I'm waiting for two grade 5 theory marks too. Jod I don't really understand Trinity's marking. What do they need to pass? 65 is a pass in Trinity exams. Waiting for results is is infuriating whether you are the teacher or the candidate. The possibility of results appearing online is a nightmare as I am constantly looking to see if they are there. Before online results when I saw the postman go past the house I knew I had at least one more day to wait.

Thanks for the clarification, yes 65 is a pass for trinity, so two have failed. When I read the marksheets I will consider appealling, depending on the comments of course. With one, unless she crumpled in the sightreading and aural she was most definately robbed!
