PS Thanks ever so for the extra karma. Feeling better today - the antibugs must be kicking in at last.

That is annoying. They eventually get around to putting the darn results on there and then you can't get at them . Lets hope they unpress the button soon .

Interesting ones... The grade 1 got 93% The grade 5 got 77%. I hadn't actually taught the grade 5 - on her consultation singing lesson she gave me a cheque for the theory exam, so I took a risk and entered her as she'd got A level music. She then had a couple of half-hour lessons before the exam, but did the work herself really. I say interesting because another girl with A level music got a similar result last session. All the information is up there in the brainbox, but tangled up with all sorts of other stuff. The ones who just progress through the theory workbooks are the ones who get the most marks...

More problms with TOP site! My practical and theory results are there to view - IF the server would connect. They'll probably arrive in the post tommorow before it does. I had this last night - hence my bloody place where satan lives fire and damnation rant ;D I finally made contact with the server this morning, about 5 seconds before the postie pushed the result through my door. Not entirely up to speed with internet potential, the AB ;D Steve

Steve - yep, probably right there. Wouldn't surprise me if they moderated posts by printing them out first to read them .

I hope Steve's lot were satisfactory too. 15 year old Kate was the subject of another posting here - remember the lass who teaches me teenagers? Kate's was the only theory candidate this time - I only ever enter kids for grade 5 and above, rarely even that now that I use TG for higher grades. The only question was whether the lass would manage a distinction without any work apart from that done in the lessons. She is awsomely clever. Watching her look at something new in the syllabus, something I had yet to explain, was an experience. Kate would stare at it for a few seconds; then she would begin to mumble to herself. Then she would pick up the past paper we were working through (no need to bother with workbooks) and write in the answer. I didn't bother setting her 'homework' - no need. We started in May, in preparation for June. Kate got 85. Scary
