When are yours? I have one on 2nd December, 10th December, 18th December and I think I have just been roped into playing in another on the 20th December. Why do I do this?

2nd December is the uni symph orchestra, 10th is the music society orchestra, not really xmassy pieces but still December concerts . 18th is the one at school that I have to organise, and the possible one on the 20th is one organised by a trombonist in the uni symph orchestra that is best friends with my old teacher - who is on maternity leave (teacher I am covering for). That makes no sense.

It does a bit! I've just got one, organised by me and another teacher. After several "never agains", it has started to run itself! Everybody knows what food to bring for the supper without being told now, and I've just accepted the fact that I'll get something wrong on the programme somewhere.

I'm playing for Britten's St. Nicholas on the 9th and I don't know it - or like it much! I had one go at listening to it and then gave up! The music is still sat on my table. Ah well - it'll be fine! Then playing for youth choir christmas concert on the 10th

Wow, glad to know I'm not the only one who's taken on too much then I have one with the choir on 2nd December, a joint concert with a big barbershop choir and someone else! Then a school one on 12th December (a friend and I have been roped into doing all the piano accompaniments, but reassured there won't be too many so that will be fun!) and the other school's one on the 14th December And an audition on the 11th December.... eekk...too much to do and not enough time!!

Ooh, what are you singing? Have just been invited to entertain a local concert society at their Christmas post-concert party.....and can't do it! Big prestige invite, gaaaah. However, am going to Top Harpsichordist's Birthday Party Concert in Birmingham instead.
