I've just received an email from the Early Music Shop at Saltaire about a concert tomorrow. I know most early music enthusiasts here will have received the same email, but just in case there's anyone browsing from TOP who might be interested, I thought I'd put it here seeing I can't get on to TOP.

Concert - Ensemble Diamenté
Saltaire United Reformed Church
(Opposite Salts Mill)
Wednesday 12th August 8.00pm
Concertos and Sonatas by J S Bach, Telemann, Corelli & Vivaldi performed in the pretty village of Saltaire, a World Heritage Site. Just four miles north of Bradford city centre, Salts Mill houses the fabulous Hockney Gallery, an eclectic mix of traders, music, culture, art, cafés and restaurants and is home to The Early Music Shop.
Ensemble Diamanté have a light and refreshing approach to baroque music. Their innovative programming brings new life to ancient music. With an impeccable sense of timing and a deep insight into musical effect, these four young musicians will at all time have your feet tapping and at others you sighing with pleasure.
This Anglo-Japanese ensemble is based in Holland, the epicentre of the early music movement. Their current programme has a strong emphasis in metamorphosis, for instance in transcriptions of Bach's Organ Trio-Sontatas, and reductions of Vivaldi's virtuosic concertos into exciting chamber music miniatures.
Ensemble Diamanté are:
Tomokazu Ujigawa - Recorder
Rie Kimura - Baroque Violin
Robert Smith - Baroque 'cello and Viola da Gamba
Aya Fukuma - Harpsichord
Tickets £8.00 (£6.00 concessions)

If anyone's reading this who hasn't been to Saltaire before, there's the Reed Organ and Harmonium Museum there as well.
