Hey, I was wondering if anyone has used the Koh: Practice in Musc Theory Grade 6 or the Harmony in Practice (Anna Butterworth) book. Are they any good or are there better books Ben  |

I've used the Music Theory in Practice Grade 6, don't know if it was one by Koh, I have no idea who wrote it actually, but the one I have is a bit naff.
The Anna Butterworth one is good I think, worth getting.

I am going to get the AB grade 6 book, the 'big six book' and will probably get the Harmony in Practice as it seems quite good. And i will of course get the HiP answer book  Ben  |

I don't have the HiP answer book , I'd like to think it's because I don't need it, but it's more because I can never be bothered to get it  . The "big six" book seems to be popular. I don't have it, I have the grade 7 one and it looks ok. |

Maybe don't get it to start with. See how you get on, and if you really think you need/want it then get it at a later date.

Hey. I got the big six book and harmony in practice and the blue and pink theory books. I have worked through a bit of the Harmony in Practice, and done the bit about labelling chords and have read the Primary Triads bit It really is a big leap from grade 5 isnt it Ben |
