Nat knows I never swear anyway LOL! Well, only when she asks me to play difficult scales Nat asks you to play scales? Nat? Our Nat? The Nat who hates scales almost as much as she hates aural? Ok, so what have you done with her? Where is the real Nat? We want her back. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Maybe she doesn't mind other people playing scales; she just doesn't like to do it herself . I heard a rumour that she did some aural practise too .

Not only does she ask me to do scales, she asks me to do right awkward ones I can't bend my little fingers into - Dminor springs to mind! Aural? Oh yes, I think the air was a little blueish that day too!! You know, I'm sure that like most of us of a slightly longer time on this earth than herself, Nat has now fallen into the "do as I say, not as I do" camp!! But I think the real reason is that she wants me to get her a good mark as her first official exam candidate - at the rate of (non-)practice going on that's not too likely! ;D

Well done, you've realised the "do as I say, not as I do".... if you did as I do you'd never get anything done! ;D D minor....it's not tooooooo hard..if you practice Yep, you are my first official exam candidate, so get practising! Not just for me! For YOU!!!! *cough* D minor *cough*

Can't start now - kids are asleep! Cat is in (not for long when she hears a clarinet, and as for the bassoon ha!) Sheep across the lane are also asleep, don't want to disturb them in case they turn nasty! Hubby still awake to laugh at me struggling and say "are you sure you should be doing an exam in June" - such faith in his beloved! I'm tempted to take it to work tomorrow and wake them all up there - they shouldn't be asleep!!

I joined as I was disgusted with the way that Nat was treated. We (Nat and I) exchanged a few emails as I tried (in vain) to get her reinstated. Having spoken to Louise Cleverdon, she's a really pleasant person, who I believe was put in a dreadful position. It was not her decision alone, nor was it taken lightly. But I still think it was wrong.
Nat is an aspiring musician, who has just landed herself a good job teaching clari and sax. She is just the type of person the ABRSM forums should be for. Yet she vented her speen when provoked, and the rest is history.
Well done you lot for getting this off the ground.
Strange [not] to see the same faces. Thanks Steve for the tip off. And its good to hear Nat talking about what she is good at. Being a musician!

Thanks jod . I don't need the ABRSM fora, I know who my friends are, and who I can get advice from. Why should I bother with that place.....

But I still think it was wrong. That was kind of you, Jo. I am not surprised you had no success. The AB moderators make arbitrary, inconsistent decisions based on whether the individual they are moderating are a member of The Favoured Few. This is a small group of contributors who can post absolutely anything the wish without fear of retribution. They have created a 'reporting culture' where members of this elite merely report anything that does not suit them and affect whatever their desired result is. I no longer contribute - I do not even read them now. I get my forum fix here and on pianostreet. Like Nat, I know who my friends are, even though Nat smited (smote?) me yesterday for pointing out that saxophones are made of brass. ;D Steve
