Heidi had her singing lesson tonight. I had arranged to take Kate as well. She is H's vocal duet partner and another of my piano pupils. We combined me playing for their lessons with some duet training. I had bought the girls a huge bag of grapes for the trip home. They passed it playing a 'let's see who can get most grapes in her mouth at once' game. Heidi won with 15. Kate kept her company all the way up to 14. The 15th was the killer. Wonderful things, kids. Mostly ;D

*mind boggles at idea of the state of Steve's car after that one*
Did you get any of the grapes, Steve?

I hope not. Growing up sounds really scary. Youth is wasted on the young, as they say.

It's scary dammit. I'm scared. I'll have to take some responsibility. And people who know me, know responsibility is a very bad thing for me to have.

The trick is to shoulder the responsibilities you want to have*...and delegate the rest. *the sort of thing you resent people doing for you!
