A random compost bin appeared at home, this morning. It didn't actually knock on the door, and announce, "Hi. I am a random compost bin come to live with you," as such - although it might as well have done. It was delivered by White Van Man, who had no idea who sent it. Thing is, we already have a compost bin - bought it about 6 months ago, so I have not ordered another unless in my sleep. I have put it next to the existing bin so they can both be friends ;D Steve

May I suggest pouring a few stiff drinks into each of them if you want to start that business?

Did you check inside to make sure it wasn't a Dalek? When we were given our first compost bin by some good friends, it said "exterminate"...Sad things have happened to it since - the builders who made our neighbours' extension concreted it to the ground.

We have a brown wheeliebin and a grey wheeliebin, but even though they sit side by side, they haven't produced any baby wheelies yet.......

*feels utterly heartless and cruel* Oh no! I sent the brown wheelie away again because we have a compost heap or three. I didn't realise it might want to strike up a relationship with the green one. The boxes co-exist happily on the stairs up from our front door, and generally get in our way.

we have breeding wheelie bins. We started off with a grey one, then got a green one, then a brown one developed somewhere along the line. Now we have a blue one too and a box!!!
