What are you all playing at the moment? I'm not really playing that much because I have no motivation, but I'm supposed to be/was playing; Sax - messing about with Glazunov concerto, Canzonetta by Pierne, Telemann sonata in C minor Clarinet - Brahms sonata in Eb first movement, Alan Ridout concertino, some study, and some studies out a technique book Piano - Various accompaniments I need to learn, and was doing Mozart's K309 sonata and Choping F minor nocturne but now given up on them and not playing anything.

>:(You're giving up on Mozart You were my virtual team-mate! I am playing Mozart k309, and the other C maj one, can't remember it's number; Mendelssohn's Song without words (duetto), Scarlatti Sonata in C, Grieg Notturno (serious stuff). Also: scores from Phanton and Blood Brothers, Jesu Joy and Meatloaf - 2 outta 3, Paradise by the dashboard lights and Heaven can wait (fun stuff) Lastly: Watermelon Man, Take 5, Fever, Miss Jones, Mack the Knife, Me and My Shadow, Night train and Moon River (band stuff) Sounds a lot, but I have a lot of free time between now and August, so I'm indulging a bit. That, and I'm only actually *working* on the first few

Sorry, I just can't play it and it's going nowhere so there is no point in carrying on with it.
I love Watermelon Man!

Well if I had a piano, I would be playing.............. Grieg's Troldhaugen wedding thingy Shostakovich's 24 Preludes and Fugues (of course!!! - Actually thought I could do a Nicolayeva on them for Diploma i.e. go in without telling the examiners which one I'm playing, and when they say "Which one?" I answer "Which one would you like?" - all from memory of course.....and assuming that I put diploma off for another 40 years or so!)
Lots of Chopin and Schumann
And on bassoon.... Lots of Weissenborn f*gott 2 part of Schubert's unfinished Some Mahler (!) - sounds like Frere Jacques
And in recorder consort... Brian Bonsor's Carriage and Pair Bach's Sheep may safely graze
And when I'm not engrossed in my music, I'm surviving yet another visit from OFSTED!
