Wow - wierd thinking that you weren't that far away while I was growing up in a little market town with a small castle on the hill fairly near there.............I left home in 1984 to go to uni and then 1991 when I moved up here.......BTW I didn't live in the castle - bit of a ruin really........ ;D

It's great to get to major cities and has good motorway links. Whilst I admit one would NEVER take a date to The Viking in the Connie it's quite a nice place to live ( now ).

BTW I didn't live in the castle - bit of a ruin really........ ;D Technically it's a keep, not a castle, but the tourist information keeps quiet about that .
