erm contra dance is a folk thing. If you imagine celidh stuff, but much harder dancing and more energetic..........it's for the harderned hobbyists unlike celidh!
As for the music, it's all American (as is the dancing), from Burea mainly I think, and it's very energetic folk stuff, but very jazz and blues based. Lots of improvisation and the like. It's great fun.
As for audio files, they'll be added in due course. We are spending half of February in recording Studios recording our first Album (yey!!!). Everyone keeps asking for it at gigs and we can now say it's int he pipeline rather than we're thinking about it!! We're playing at Chippenham folk festival at Whitsun so we hopeto have it all out by then!!
