Help! I'm trying to use Finale to write down some of my compositions, and I'm having problems - the bars seem to shrink after I've deleted something (especially when trying to work in 2 layers for part-writing) and then it doesn't matter how many notes I try to enter after each other, Finale just piles them up on top of each other and I don't know how to correct the bar size again.......has anyone else come across this? I'm still fiding my way around Finale so it could be something really straightforward but I'm beginning to scream as I think I've sorted it, and then the bars shrink again!!! ARGH!!

Hmm weird, I've not used Finale for about 2 years so can't remember. Easiest solution - get Sibelius 4 .

I agree with NAT - get sibelius!!!! Hehe. I think it is the bankruptcy involved in buying Sib that puts CD off. Finale may be a so-and-so to use, but so is Sib and the price difference is about £500. Even the student version costs about £90.00. Does anyone actually buy Sib software? ;D
