I need to sort out where we go next with my adult pupil, and I'm looking for suggestions. He finished Piano Time 3 last term, isn't interested in doing exams, likes playing a wide range of pieces but always seems to appreciate learning something where he recognises the tune (e.g. simplified classics).
Any ideas?

I have lent out the book so I can't remember the exact title but it's something like "tunes you've always wanted to play" by Carol Barrett. It's simplified classics and the arrangements are not too bad and quite musical compared to some of the simplified/butchered arrangements around!

Thanks Caz, I'll check it out.
I really could do with some sort of methodology book that will continue to stretch my pupil technique-wise, and then some lighter repertoire stuff alongside....
