I have put the Chopin etude to bed (I will endeavor to get a recording sent to you, Steve) and my concert pianist friend who came to visit has given me two new pieces to learn, which i'm supposed to play for him in 6 weeks time. The first is Grieg's 'butterfly', which doesn't look too bad. The other is a set of 6 easy variations by Beethoven. However, i've just discovered that there are 2 sets of easy variations, one in f and one in g. I don't know either of them. Which would you suggest learning? Schubertiad
