Oooh rebel! I never said no, stupidly, I just did them, one after the other . Until I refused to do grade 7 piano, that came as a shock to my teacher .

It must have been to them if you had always done them, did you carry on lessons after that? or quit? I was just stubbon (probably still am) after the first 2 years of trying my teacher just gave up asking

I stopped lessons for a few weeks, then was made to have them again because I wanted lessons at uni and they thought it would help me musically. So I carried on, but I didn't have the enthusiasm for it I once had, and I still don't.

I had lessons at uni last year, and I enjoyed them, it just wasn't the same, not because of my new teacher, he was ace, but just because of what happened previously. It's a shame because I get on really well with my old teacher! Now I'm not having lessons, I don't play it as much and I get bored of not having lessons! Can't win .

;D sort of know what you mean, I thought great a summer with no sax lessons I managed two weeks then had to find someone to give me a lesson.

I had non for 2 weeks then ended up having 2 1/2 hours of lessons yesterday and now non for another two weeks

I don't know about that I have got recordings of myself on sax which I did a while ago but they are not very good I might try and have another go in a few weeks.

There is only one half decent one that I could send, which is the first part of turkish rondo but be warned it isn't great (or very long)
