I was wondering if anyone would be able to reccomend some flute music for a beginner flautist, who has worked through a tutor book.
Thanks

The Boosey Woodwind Method ... I used it for sax & clarinet I just forgot to get anything else for flute when I picked it up

I liked them, think they gave me a good grounding before I started lessons...I was able to go straight onto working on grade 1 pieces when I finally got round to having lessons

Great!
I've never really used them so just interested to see what beginners think of them.

I son't know those methods. I always use Abracadabra for flute, then Clarinet Basics and Saxophone Basics. I've dabbled with other books for flute, but have always been frustrated with various things and generally have always come back to abracadabra in the end

I have used the abracadabra book for a short time I like a few of the songs in it, and I have the learn as you play books was told they where good for learning technique ( I have never really used them though)
I am not planning on using the tutor book unless I absolutly need to now, I would rather get to grips playing some real music

You'll be fine with those books. They are kinda grade 0-1.
