Greetings,
I have this yen to get a multi temperament electronic tuner (mainly for use with woodwind). As far as I can see the only easily available model is the Korg OT 120. Anybody had experience of these ? Are there other models I should consider ?
Many Thanks -Dwrglas-

I know a harpsichord tuner who uses a multi-temperament electronic tuner; nice chap, if you email him he'll probably tell you what he uses. His website is at: www.albamusick.co.uk/...and his email address is at the bottom of the page. For woodwind, I'm sure it'll be wonderful. The results from an electronic tuner when tuning a harpsichord aren't bad, and better than not tuned at all, but somehow doesn't sing the same as if one were to do it by hand. By hand, there's a certain 'je ne sais quoi', which likely stems from the focus on the intervals - for instance, tuning a pure fifth will produce a purer sound than tweaking two notes a fifth apart against a gizmo.

I can't remember the make of my Chromatic tuner. Useful little devil.
