Hi everyone
I wonder if anyone can help? I ordered a flight case from my local music shop for my son at the beginning of the year. He plays in a band and they tour every few months.
I am still waiting for it to arrive from the States............
It seems that every stockist in the UK is currently waiting for the same shipment to be sent over, so it's impossible to get one from anywhere else.
I don't know if we are allowed on this forum to put 'wanted' messages but if so, does anyone happen to have a flight case, or know of where I can get hold of one?
The digital piano is a Korg SP200 model.
It would be great if someone could help.
Thanks anyway. Rosemary.

I got a flight case made for my Roland fp8 a couple of years back via Biggar's music shop in Glasgow. Not sure where it was made and it was quite expensive but I don't think it had to be shipped over from the states - could be wrong, of course! Are you trying to cancel your order and try elsewhere, or just find a temporary case until the order comes through? You could try calling Biggars and ask where they get their cases from. Have you tried looking on the net? Google maybe? You might find some British companies making flight cases......

Thanks Chocolatedog - I've done a search and Biggars say that they are out of stock, or discontinued. Maybe worth a phone call tomorrow though.
We've looked on the Korg website too and will contact them direct.
No, I haven't cancelled my order but the music shop knows that I'm looking elsewhere too. They are finding it just as difficult to get hold of an alternative.
I think a few phone calls are needed. Watch this space.
Flight cases are certainly not generally stocked although there is obviously a need.
Thanks anyway,

ppppo everyone
My local music shop phoned today to say that the shipment of flight cases (etc) is on its way over from the States, at last! It seems that this happens only about twice a year. It should arrive by the end of the month, just after my son's 21st which is what it is intended for!
