I've just thought - I've got a recital coming up too. I can't really number my recorders in order of preference, so is there an alternative protocol for panicking? Grounds for anxiety? Have done one rehearsal with my fellow duettist, after she came up for a four-hour session in March, and am only able to practise with the continuo player if not feeling too stressed about the diploma exam, which is a fortnight later. Haven't heard the gamba player at all! *gulp* Oh, and have to find my way to the concert venue, down in Oxfordshire somewhere. And my friend muttered something about a well-known recorder name possibly being there.

Aaaww, thanks. Now, how can I make the completely exposed entry in the gigue foolproof anacrusis-proof?
