If every England game is like this afternoons, I will be dead from so many heart attacks .

Just about made it. Referee was a bit of a woman's front bottom though.

Ref was indeed a thingy. I thought he started ok, but then as the game progressed the decisions he made went more and more Paraguays way. At least we got the 3 points, that's what counts at the end of the day.

It's a game of two halves, but at the end of the day we got the results. [/cliches]

Get out of this thread then!
I'm obsessed with football!
Sweden/Trindad result was good for England too.

Oh, it was sweet. One win and we're through (*touches wood*).
Hopefully no more thingy-refs though, they really spoil things.

What's with people not liking football? I have about 2 friends who care the world cup is on (and 2 more who couldn't tell me who won the Premiership last season). Football's fun...

I've no idea, but it's their loss! I love it, I used to play in teams and stuff. Woo.

I used to be right-back for my Cub team. Even was Captain for a spell, although I try to gloss over the fact that during that spell we lost every game heavily (one was 35-0).

Nasty! Well I played for the schools girls team, and a separate girls team outside of school. Training twice a week, and a match. In primary school me and a mate had to play for the boys team because they needed extra players and none of the boys we're any good! ;D .
